The top two sides in JCK Division Two showed on Saturday why they’re well clear of the chasing pack.

Marown maintained their 100 per cent record by overcoming the firm challenge of Douglas Royal, emerging 2-1 winners at Ballfletcher.

After a goalless first half, a second half double from Juan Killip saw the leaders home to seal 14th straight league victory.

Gareth Logan replied for Royal.

Steven Quine hit a hat-trick as second placed Union Mills made a blistering start to go on the rampage at Michael.

The Millers triumphed 7-1 at Balleira Road with Lee Christian (two), Chris Kelly and AJ Suckling netting the others.

There were goals galore as Braddan ran out 7-4 winners over Douglas & District to move up to eighth.

Talented youngster Johnny Padi hit a hat-trick and was joined on the scoresheet by John McMullan, Daniel Hare (two, one penalty) and Lee Ramsden for Braddan.

D&D played their own part – Adam Rosevear (three) and Adam Bradley their marksmen.

Colby won the southern derby, 5-1 at Malew.

Bobby Kneale was the star of the show with a hat-trick.

Steve Kelly and Chris McKenna grabbed the others.

There was a good win for Pulrose as they saw off neighbours the Police 2-1, courtesy of goals from Dale Walker and an own goal.
