Vagabonds finished the season on a high and ended Oswestry’s promotion hopes in the process.
A 36-11 victory at Ballafletcher on Saturday rounded off their campaign in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two and ensured there would be no promotion party for the visitors.
Vagas finish the season in fifth place with Oswestry in third, missing out on promotion behind Crewe and Nantwich and champions Ruskin Park.
It was a fitting end to the campaign for Vagabonds’ stalwart Leigh Kennaugh who led out the side for the final time as club captain.
