Isle of Man cricket is benefiting from the HSBC Manx Youth Games.
That's the view of the sport's development officer Gareth Dawson.
Coaching sessions in eleven different sports are under way in all regions of the Island, for children in the eight to 15 age group.
The scheme culminates with a day of sporting competition on Saturday, May 19.
Gareth Dawson says cricket has seen a growth in interest since the Youth Games started in 2002:
Boxing: Island success in Sheffield
Boxing: Coach hails 'fantastic' season for Manx ABC
Rugby: Douglas lose third on the bounce
Losing MGP Supporters Club would leave 'huge gap'
