Baker asks for people to wait before passing judgement

Douglas Promenade will be finished by the end of August.

That's the pledge from the infrastructure minister who says he's been assured work is progressing to schedule:

Tim Baker appeared on the Mannin Line on Wednesday 30 June where he defended the multi-million pound project which started in 2018 and which is being carried out by Auldyn Construction.

He's defended criticism of issues like cracked concrete and is asking people to wait for the scheme to complete before passing judgement:
