LegCo will follow Keys on abortion, says MLC

Bill passes first reading

The Legislative Council took a look at the Abortion Reform Bill for the first time on Tuesday (22nd May).

The legislation passed its first reading, with the main issues being to do with technical and typographical points, rather than the principle of the bill itself.

MLC Bill Henderson is steering the bill through LegCo.
