Late Lunch listen again: Simon Quine

On the programme today, we had another episode in our 'Collectors' series as Simon Quine (from Saturday's Radio Cafe), shared his sticker collection with us. He has been collecting Football stickers since he was a lad, and was actually looking for some assistance from our audience in completing it...

We heard how you can volunteer for our Charity of the Week,  Cruse Bereavement Care. If you'd like to find out more, contact them via their website, or email , or phone them on 01624 668191.

Also today, we celebrated J-Lo's birthday (50 yesterday!) and the fact that both T-Rex 'Get It On' and Carpenters' 'Close To You' were both released on this day;

Our Soul Starter was the summery sounding 'Groovin' from the Young Rascals and we had a number of other wonderfully sunny songs to celebrate the gorgeous weather - including 'Summertime' from DJ Jazzy Jeff.

And our Jukebox today was a battle of the Recents as we pitted Producer Paul Epworth against himself; the choice was between Adele's 'Skyfall' and The Stone Roses 'All For One' - and the indie kids championed the Roses to a win!

If you missed any part of the programme you can listen again at this link for the next 7 days.
