ON PRAISE TODAY - 16 JUNE 2019
On this Father’s Day, three people share precious memories of their Dads, and we mark a historic moment in the lives of two Island churches.
On Saturday 15 June, a Declaration of Commitment was signed, officially recognising the partnership between Ramsey Methodist Church and Trinity United Reformed Church in Ramsey, who have decided to come together to work and worship as one congregation, in a new ‘home’ in St Paul’s Church Hall in Ramsey.
We recall the process that has taken the two churches to this agreement (the first of its kind on the Island) and we look to a promising shared future, with comments from Rev Richard Hall for the Methodist Church on the Island, and Reverend Jacky Embrey who is Moderator of the Mersey Synod of the United Reformed Church of which Trinity URC on the Isle of Man is a part
MUSIC ON PRAISE TODAY :
Dear Lord and Father of Mankind
sung by the Wallingford Parish Church Choir, Oxfordshire
Lord for the years and One more step along the way I go
as sung in the Service of Celebration in St Pauls Church Hall, Ramsey on 15 June 2019 - the pianist is Mrs Mavis Quirk

MEETS AGAIN ON
SATURDAY
13 JULY
IN
ST JOHN’S MILL
from 10am - 1pm
We look forward to welcoming our guest speaker :

There is no set charge for ISN meetings though a suggested voluntary donation of £10 helps to defray our expenses. However, no one is EVER asked for money (we just provide a basket at the back of the room, for anyone to place a donation if they wish) so please DO NOT stay away for financial reasons. What better way to spend a Saturday morning than to gather together, sharing, reflecting and learning from one another. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday18 May and to renewing fellowship and friendship
