THE ISLAND SPIRITUALITY NETWORK

MEETS AGAIN

ON

SATURDAY

14th September 2019

in

ST JOHN’S MILL

from 10am - 1pm

We look forward to welcoming our guest speaker :

Rt Reverend Frank White

Bishop Frank White who joins us from Hull, where is wife Alison is Bishop - making them the only husband and wife ‘‘Bishop Partnership” in the Church of England!

Originally from South Tyneside, Bishop Frank has spent most of his ordained ministry in the Durham diocese until consecrated Bishop of Brixworth in 2002.  In 2010, he was consecrated Assistant Bishop of Newcastle, from which position he retired in 2016.  In retirement, he serves as a Minister at Hull Minster.

He is a pastor whose passion for prayer, profound call to pastoral care and commitment to mission and evangelism have been much valued, as have his ecumenical convictions. He has worked with those on the margins which has shone through in his engagement with prisons and prisoners.

This is a speaker with a rich store of experience - and his theme for the morning will be

‘FINDING OUR VOCATION - A MINISTRY FOR ALL’

This promises to be challenging and of interest to every member of Christ’s body, as we each seek to discern where and how to serve God, the Church and the world.

There is no set charge for ISN meetings though a suggested voluntary donation of £10 helps towards expenses. However, no one is EVER asked for money (we just provide a basket for voluntary donations) so please DO NOT stay away for financial reasons.
