Regular visitor to the Island Simeon Wood composes for a variety of people and organisations including television, advertising, theatre, lyricists and performs as a multi-instrumentalist majoring in flutes and whistles - and the odd NHS crutch which he adapts for performance; he also appears on television and radio and, in the time since he was last with us, appeared as a contestant on Britain's Got Talent.
He shared some behind the scenes secrets of being on the hit TV talent show, talked about his latest composition success (for a TV ad involving Mr Bean as a ninja..) and told some fascinating, moving and often hilarious stories about his life-so-far as well as - of course - sharing superb music choices over the hour we spent with him.
