Women Today listen again: Inconsiderate parking, all aboard for all and lunch or dinner?

On Women Today this afternoon we were joined in the studio by Juan Greggor and his guide dog Angel to talk about his time navigating a degree at university and his plans for continued study. We were also joined by Dave Wilson from Manx Blind Welfare to talk about their Vision Awareness Week starting on September 4th, to find out more about the events they have going on you can go their Facebook page.

Also on the programme we had Eddy Ryan from the Manx Steam and Model Engineering Club who told us about the new wheelchair carriage for the Orchid Line miniature railway at the Wildlife Park. He gave us an insight into the process behind making it and what it was like to see it in use. You can see pictures of the inauguration event on their Facebook page here.

We found out about how inconsiderate parking can affect those with visual impairments and debated another food problem of whether it’s called lunch or dinner.

Listen back for the next seven days here.
