Optimism at corporate deal growth
Douglas-based law firm Appleby says corporate deals are on the up – with 17 per cent more between April and June compared to the first three months of the year.
Figures from the law firm also show the number of mergers and acquisitions on the Island was up almost a quarter on last year.
So far this year, the company says the Island’s seen $750 million worth of deals.
Appleby partner Simon Harding says the data, in a new report, illustrates a long-term trend for continued economic growth.
