There's a new vessel on the Isle of Man ship registry after a bulk carrier was named and delivered in China.
Star Manx is the second of three new vessels commissioned by Lars Ugland, the Douglas-based chief executive officer of LTU Management Ltd and Seven Mile Shipping.
She has a five year charter with Norwegian company Grieg Star Shipping and has already embarked on her maiden voyage, taking grain from Seattle to Japan.
Star Manx is a sister ship to the Caly Manx which set sail after a naming ceremony performed by Sam Barks, and attended by Chief Minister Tony Brown.
