Private sector invited to explore options
Private operators are being invited to consider running refuelling facilities at the Island's harbours.
The Department of Infrastructure says it wants to enhance user experience at its harbours and marinas - with fuelling points in Peel, Ramsey and Douglas reaching the end of their operational lives.
The department wants to hear from organisations which could provide fuel installations at existing sites, with a view to extending the service to evenings and weekends for visiting craft.
A prior information notice (PIN) recently published, is the first stage in a process which could see private sector firms take on the operations.
The deadline for expressions of interest is Friday 15 July.
