Calls for improvements to more of main shopping street
A business owner in Ramsey says she believes regeneration work in the courthouse area of the town needs to be replicated along the rest of Parliament Street.
Claire Hewitson has run the crafts and gift shop Shalee for the last nine years - one of many independent small businesses in the town.
Claire told Manx Radio it would be nice if a similar level of investment could be committed to the other end of Ramsey's main shopping street.
She says the arts and crafts scene is alive and well and Ramsey is the hub for the north of the Island:
