
Island telco Sure says it’s almost ready to launch its 4G mobile network.
Engineers are starting the network switch out at three sites in Ramsey this morning as the high-speed replacement for 3G goes live.
Sure’s marketing manager Sarah Jarvis says the complex engineering project has suffered delays because of technical issues and bad weather.
But she says the work should be fully complete by the end of February, with some optimisation work in March.
