Nearly two weeks of action planned for Snaefell Mountain Course
The 2026 Manx Grand Prix is due to get underway today (16 August).
The first timed practice sessions for all classes in the meeting will be held on the Snaefell Mountain Course this afternoon.
Roads around the course are scheduled to close at 12.45pm before a newcomers speed-controlled lap at 1.30pm.
After that will be the first MGP qualifying for the Sportbike/Junior class at 1.45pm and then the Senior/Supersport machines at 2.30pm.
Both categories are then due to get a second practice slot each with the Sportbike/Junior competitors due out again at 3.15pm before the Senior/Supersport bikes head out for a second time at 4.05pm.
Roads around the course are then due to reopen no later than 6pm.
The Manx Grand Prix will be running alongside the Classic TT over 12 days between Sunday, 16 August and Friday, 28 August.
