Beecroft and Moorhouse dominate Keys questions

Just eight questions tabled for sitting

There are just three questions for oral answer in the House of Keys on Tuesday, and they all come from one MHK: Arbory, Castletown and Malew member Jason Moorhouse.

He wants to know how frequently the Treasury receives updates on the performance of government reserves, whether there will be a consultation about TV licence payments for the over-75s, and whether Sunday opening at the Manx Museum has been a success.

The five questions for written reply, meanwhile, all come from Douglas South MHK Kate Beecroft, and mostly concern the health service.

Mrs Beecroft will ask the health and social care minister four questions about his department.

She wants to know whether the standards of governance, reported in each of the West Midlands Quality Review Service reports, were considered a risk, and if not, why not.

Mrs Beecroft will also ask whether Noble's Hospital has ever been placed in special measures, and wants an age breakdown of general medical practitioners here.

Her final question for David Ashford is about how much care provider Adorn has been paid for unoccupied beds from the start of its contract to the end of October this year.

Her other question is for the Treasury minister, whom she will ask what the advantages and disadvantages would be if the Island withdrew from the Common Purse Agreement.

You can hear House of Keys questions live on Manx Radio AM, online at manxradio.com and via the smartphone apps from 10am on Tuesday.
