All Manannan journeys are going ahead as planned
This afternoon's Heysham to Douglas crossing has been cancelled due to 'technical issues' with a generator on the Ben-my-Chree.
The vessel also missed this morning's Douglas to Heysham sailing, which was scheduled to leave at 8.30am.
The affected crossing is the 2.15pm journey but this evening's 7.45pm Douglas to Heysham journey is scheduled as normal.
All Manannan journeys are going ahead as planned.
In a statement to Manx Radio, the Steam Packet says: "our engineering team is investigating the fault, and passengers on both sailings are currently being notified.
"We apologise to all those affected and appreciate your patience while we work to resolve the issue."
