Travellers track destination threats
An Island travel agent says the trade is adapting fast to changing customer demand - in the light of world events.
From fear of terrorism in tourist resorts to hurricanes, floods and forest fires, travellers are tracking destination threats closely.
That view from Island travel business boss Brian Kelly, chairman of Online Regional Travel Group. His firms Richmond and Mann Link Travel, are celebrating 35 years on the high street, with outlets in Douglas and Ramsey.
He says travel shops remain popular, despite many choosing to search for low cost flights, ferries and accommodation online.
