An MHK says she's heard some children on the Island have been going home after school in tears, because they were hungry.
In today's sitting of the House of Keys, member for Onchan Julie Edge quizzed the education minister about nutrition in current school menus.
Graham Cregeen responded, confirming that portion controls have been applied in schools to help tackle childhood obesity:
