Coronavirus cases in IoM inevitable, says director of public health

IoM still in 'contain' phase

The Island's director of public health says it's almost inevitable that the Isle of Man will see cases of coronavirus

The UK government today announced it's moving towards phase two of its plan to tackle the outbreak - 'delay' - as the number of confirmed cases there rose to 115.

It is still deciding which measures will be taken in the delay phase, but has previously said they could include banning big events, closing schools, encouraging people to work from home and discouraging the use of public transport.
