20-year-old appears in court
A Douglas man has appeared in court after being charged with assaulting two people during a burglary.
Jonathan Watson, of Palace Terrace, is accused of entering a property on Mona Terrace on 9 January.
The 20-year-old allegedly told the occupants: “I’ve got a knife,” before stealing an iPhone.
Committal proceedings, where the case is elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery, will take place on 28 March; bail continues until that date.
