Former medical director speaks to BBC Radio 4
The Island's former medical director has been speaking about the impact her employment tribunal has had on her life.
Dr Rosalind Ranson won her claim of unfair dismissal as a result of whistleblowing against the Department of Health and Social Care last year.
Earlier this year, the tribunal awarded her a record-breaking payout of £3.2m.
Speaking to BBC Radio 4's 'File on 4' programme, she discussed the behaviour she experienced after raising concerns over government's handling of the Covid-19 pandemic.
She highlighted a number of issues discussed during the tribunal, including her belief that the Island should have closed the borders sooner, the behaviour of the then-chief executive of the DHSC and the handling of the Island's vaccine rollout.
Earlier this year, Dr Ranson told the tribunal the case is likely to mean the end of her career, and she's now told the BBC the outcome doesn't feel like a success:
