First licences could be issued later this year
Response to the new medicinal cannabis export market being set up on Island has been 'encouraging' so far.
That's according to the Gambling Supervision Commission which is tasked with regulating and processing licenses for the sector.
Director of policy and legislation Mark Rutherford says interest is at an ideal level.
He also told Manx Radio when he thinks the first licences for the new industry could be issued:
CoMin making 'significant and determined efforts' to implement recommendations from Ranson review
Rain events 'difficult to forecast' on the Isle of Man
Planning permission granted for 26 industrial units
Port St Mary Commissioners urging residents not to 'struggle in silence'
