Manx test rate lower than Guernsey's
More coronavirus tests have been carried out in Guernsey than here because a higher percentage of residents returned from high-risk areas.
Health Minister David Ashford has defended the Island's 0.02% test rate, insisting Public Health has been following the recommended criteria for testing.
More than five times as many residents per head of population have been checked for Covid-19 in Guernsey compared to the Isle of Man, with the Channel Island confirming its first case yesterday.
Mr Ashford insists circumstances here are different:
Government 'neglecting' heritage assets across the Island
Motiv8: 'We will never reach all the children on the Isle of Man'
House of Keys question paper dominated by one MHK
Onchan Commissioners to undertake 'accessibility' review of park equipment
