It's put the 7:45pm Ben-my-Chree journey at risk of disruption or cancellation, and the subsequent return from Heysham in the early hours of tomorrow morning.
The Ronaldsway Met Office is predicting gale or possibly severe gales for a time.
A final decision is due to be made by the master by 5:30pm.
