Police warn businesses are being targeted
Burglars targeting business premises have prompted a warning from police.
Officers are reporting an increase in call-outs to commercial burglaries - each one unoccupied at the time of the theft, with cash and power tools were taken.
It's had a significant impact on the lives of employers and their staff; preventing people from working, and wages being paid to them.
Police remind business owners to reduce their vulnerability by removing cash and items of value after closure, and installing adequate alarms and CCTV.
Anyone with information is asked to call Police Headquarters on 631212.
