Commentator to step back from duties
An outspoken commentator on Island and Celtic matters says he's retiring - again.
Bernard Moffatt is well-known from his time as a union leader and negotiator for Whitley Council on the Island.
In more recent years he has been an active voice in Manx politics via the Mannin Branch Celtic League Facebook page, where his polemical entries have captured the attention of the public and Tynwald members alike.
He did retire from his position in the NGO several years ago, but was persuaded to stay on.
However, he says he now intends to restrict his comments to trans-Celtic matters only:
How to spot the signs of domestic and elder abuse this Christmas
Police appeal to parents after party of up to 50 young people 'becomes an issue'
Home schooling figures spike on the Isle of Man
