Lucky escape for family after car overturns
A family of four managed to escape unhurt when a car overturned in the west of the Island this morning (Monday).
Fire crews were called out just after 7am following the single vehicle collision next to the Ballaharra sand quarry.
The four occupants were able to escape uninjured and were checked over by ambulance crew but did not need to go to hospital for any treatment.
The road has been closed until midday to allow the vehicle to be recovered.
