But health body 'committed to openness and transparency'

Manx Care says it won’t hold a board meeting in public next month due to the General Election.

It says it's after guidance issued to the public service about the pre-election period.

The meeting had been due to take place on 3 September.

The health body says it ‘remains committed to openness and transparency’.

It will resume board meetings in public following the election of the new House of Keys on 24 September.

The next meeting scheduled for after the election is 11 November.
