Charity helps support men dealing with loneliness and social isolation
A charity which aims to support the wellbeing of men has a new home in Peel.
The Western Men in Sheds can now be found at The Old Workshop on Derby Road – a building provided by Peel Commissioners for a nominal fee.
Yesterday (9 September) the facility had a ‘grand opening’ after 18 months under construction.
Committee member Mike Webb says it’s important for men to have somewhere to go:
Main road between Peel and Douglas to shut for tree felling
'Targeted and intelligence led approach' to protect Island's borders during Irish sailings
Airport Director role advertised with top salary of £120,000
Traders on Michael Street feel 'abandoned' by politicians in tough times
