Special consent to make changes to Newson's warehouse building
A project to redevelop the former Newson's warehouse and two other units on North Quay in Douglas has been given the go-ahead by planners.
The £3 million 'duplex' development will see parts of the three buildings demolished and rebuilt as apartments, a restaurant, retail units, a bar and a 'private business club'.
The application was lodged by Mr Dennis Rodgers, who's also behind plans to redevelop the Trafalgar pub on South Quay, and was approved by the planning committee on Monday (4 Feb).
Special consents were also given to make the changes to the former Newson's warehouse, which is a registered building.
