Former hotelier's concerns for firms over winter
A former hotelier says the past year or two has been worse for businesses on Douglas promenade than the second world war.
Chris Robertshaw MHK is leading a project to help firms in the area survive the winter, after the impacts of ongoing refurbishment works, Covid-19, and the lack of TT.
Along with Douglas East colleague Clare Barber, he's pushing for government's financial support schemes to be extended - otherwise the outlook is bleak, he says:
