First voters held up this morning
There was frustration for early voters in Peel this morning – as the town’s polling station wasn’t ready when polls opened.
Voters turned up at 8am at Corrin Hall on Derby Road to cast their votes this morning, only to face delays.
One person who was keen to cast his ballot before commuting to work says he had to wait for the station to open, making him late for his job.
He told Manx Radio what had happened:
Fuel costs 'likely to rise' amid Middle East conflict
Ramsey Commissioners redacted information 'without justification' in FoI response
Death of MGP competitor deemed accidental by inquest
Flooding caused by 'sealed off' gulley, says Douglas Council
