Transport Minister David Anderson says it’s important to do road works at this time of year while the motorsports season is over for another year.
He says a number of major projects will be carried out over the winter now that the Manx Grand Prix has finished.
Among the planned works are improvements to Braddan Bridge which are now underway.
Mr Anderson explains it’s the logical time of year to start digging up roads:
More bus services at risk today
Cost of land pushing would-be farmers away from sector
Charity wants to hear from those who've benefitted from oxygen therapy
All invited to take a dip for Arlo's Adventure
