Sixth-formers from schools across the Island are gathering at the event, where they'll attempt to draft a resolution on the Syrian civil war.
Lieutenant Governor Sir Richard Gozney is taking the role of President of the Council, while delegates from Castle Rushen, St Ninian's, QE11, Ramsey Grammar and KWC will represent different nations with competing interests.
