Steam Packet announces revised schedule

Borders now to shut to all non-essential workers

The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company is rescheduling its services from today (27/03), following the announcement that Manx borders will close to all but essential workers.

The Manannan will not start her seasonal service this afternoon.

Passengers booked to travel on the fast craft between now and 16 April will be able to transfer to the nearest available Ben-My-Chree service or receive a full refund.

The Ben-My-Chree’s twice-daily service between Douglas and Heysham will continue as scheduled to maintain freight services.

Passengers are still permitted to travel out of the Isle of Man but may not return during the 21 day period from today (27/03).

Passengers arriving in the Isle of Man now must be authorised by the Chief Secretary to perform essential work on the Island.

Authorisation requests must be made with at least 24 hours notice.
