An inquest has heard how a Colby man committed suicide following a battle with depression .
44-year-old Mark Anthony Dickinson died after taking large amounts of prescription drugs after drinking heavily.
Mr Dickinson's friend Tracey Teare told the court she found him slumped over a bath at his home in Station Park in July last year.
This afternoon, the court heard Mr Dickinson suffered from depression after the death of his wife.
Coroner of Inquests Jayne Hughes was told the Department of Social Care had moved him from his family home in Castletown to Colby, which contributed to his depression.
She recorded a verdict of suicide.
