The enterprise minister has described the retail giant’s takeover of Shoprite stores as a ‘shock’ saying there’s been no ‘proper dialogue’ about the move.
Tim Johnston acknowledges that food producers, who sell through the nine supermarkets, will be concerned about what happens next.
