Three further confirmed positive tests for coronavirus

Total number now stands at 49

Two people remain in Noble's Hospital being treated for coronavirus, but one of them is now in a stable condition in intensive care.

There have also been three further confirmed cases of coronavirus since this morning's update at 10am, taking the total up to 49.

There have been 825 concluded tests, 236 tests are awaiting results and 182 people are awaiting tests.

People who are awaiting results will now receive a text from the 111 service, whether their result is positive or negative.

Also at this afternoon's media briefing, Health and Social Care Minister David Ashford confirmed that all elective and semi-urgent cancer surgery was being suspended.

Patients are being contacted by their Clinical Nurse Specialist, care plans are being discussed and theatres are to be re-purposed.
