Treasury minister gives update on Castle Rushen High School project
The timeline for the replacement of Castle Rushen High School will become clear once the project clears its current stage.
That's from the treasury minister, who's been responding to recent criticism of delays facing the build - including from former Infrastructure Minister, Michelle Haywood, who deemed the delays 'another example of failing to invest in our Island':
In the last few weeks, Tynwald's Public Accounts Committee was told that funding for a replacement school would likely be decided by the next administration.
But Chris Thomas has disputed the view that either he or his department has slowed down the process:
