Island's medicine laws changed ahead of potential Covid jab rollout
A coronavirus vaccine will still have to go through all safety stages before being rolled out in the Isle of Man.
That's the message from Health Minister David Ashford after Tynwald approved changes to the Island's medicines laws.
The amendments mean a range of healthcare professionals will be able to administer the jab so it can be rolled out to the Manx public as quickly as possible.
However, Mr Ashford insists this won't happen until the vaccine has been thoroughly tested:
