Some employers not allowing it, says health minister

The health minister has reiterated the message that employees should be working from home wherever possible.

David Ashford broached the topic at yesterday's daily Isle of Man Government media briefing, following reports those guidelines aren't always being adhered to:

Meanwhile, the health minister says the rate at which government is testing people for Covid-19 on the Isle of Man is more than double its target.

It's still hoped the on-Island testing facility will be open by mid-April.

The health minister has also been encouraging members of the public to get behind a scheme appealing for diving masks.

David Ashford was asked about it at a media briefing on Thursday, then spoke about the appeal again yesterday (Sunday, 29 March).

Whilst there are more than enough masks for doctors and medical professionals, the minister says, contributions for patients would be very welcome:
