Strand street shoppers comment on potential air corridor

The Manx government has confirmed talks have been held between the chief ministers of the Isle of Man and Guernsey over the prospect of an air corridor.

It's understood Howard Quayle has asked officers to investigate and come back with a proposal in due course.

It comes after the CEO of Guernsey airline Aurigny say it has plans for an Isle of Man route available by the end of next month.

Shoppers on Strand Street were asked whether they'd consider making the trip this summer:

Meanwhile, there have been no further Island Covid-19 cases in 35 consecutive days.

Total numbers of confirmed cases therefore remain at 336, with 23 people waiting for results.

Just two people are waiting for a test.
