A candidate seeking to return to the House of Keys in next month's general election is urging caution over privatisation.
Outgoing Onchan MHK Adrian Earnshaw is aiming to regain the seat he has held for the past ten years.
With the next administration expected to look closely at proposals to review the scope of government, including how certain services such as public transport are run, Mr Earnshaw says a full assessment is required and no decision should be rushed (listen to audio file below):
At present there are six candidates for the three seats in Onchan, the others being outgoing MHKs Peter Karran and David Quirk, Zac Hall, and local commissioners June Kelly and Brian Stowell.
Nominations close a week today (Tuesday), and polling is on September 29.
