Golf Championships at Peel

Peel to host events

For the first time in Manx Golf history, the Men's and Ladies Championships will be played at the same time.

But it's the Men before the Women with the first three-ball teeing-off at 7am at Peel.

There are 96 players competing for 16 qualifying places - the second round takes place tomorrow.

There are 23 players in the Ladies competition which starts at 12.40pm.

Manx Radio Golf correspondent Roy Moore says the idea has come about since the Unions merged:-
