Steve Plater clocked an average speed of 125.808 mph on the final lap of the Centenary Senior T.T. in a highly impressive début.
He has re-signed for the AIM Yamaha team for the 2008 season.
Plater prepared for his first experience of racing around the Mountain Course by completing numerous laps on frequent visits to the Isle of Man.
He says just a few months away has undone much of that knowledge:-
Hockey: Two wins for travelling junior sides
Rugby: Vagabonds ladies stay with Island based sponsor
Athletics: Christa Cain second in Athens 10km
Taekwondo: Three golds for Isle of Man competitor at British Championships
