Festival a success, says minister

Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly says this year's Festival of Motorcycling was a huge success.

The fortnight-long festival rolls together a number of events including the Manx Grand Prix, Classic TT, trials and other motorsports.

The Steam Packet Company says it saw a slight rise in the number of visitors arriving on the Island over the two weeks.

And Mr Skelly says although he hasn't seen all the figures yet, this festival felt bigger and better than ever.
