Officials apologise for anthems gaffe

Officials at a stadium in Maryland in the USA have apologised after the Manx national anthem was played instead of the Salvadoran one at a football match there.

The national football team of El Salvador was left bemused, and its fans seemingly furious, by the pre-match mix-up. It happened as the team was about to play Argentina.
