Figures show IOM has fourth oldest population in the world

The Policy and Reform Minister says there are policies aimed at addressing the ageing population on the Island.

Chris Thomas was speaking on Mandate on Wednesday morning (10 April) in response to figures collected in the Isle of Man Population Atlas, which shows the Island has the fourth oldest population in the world.

Mr Thomas says the atlas is an excellent publication and the major challenges it highlights aren't being ignored.
